The snow is white and pure
Christmas music caresses the soul
Twinkling stars in the sky
Tremendous measures have taken place
To make sure the tree stays
Upright
Presents are leaning
And the dreaming began last year
As the decorations were put away
The sleighs, the bulbs, the lights
Appeared this year no sooner
The children leave out milk
and the silk chocolate cookies
This eve couldn’t be any fancier
For Santa
The house is the brightest on the block
And we know he doesn’t need to knock
The chimney is clean
And I know i’m gleaming
It’s fair to say
we’ve paid with our deeds
And now it’s time to reap
Merry Christmas
