My passion sits
Recorded in testimonies
Of what i’m afforded in beliefs
In tune it resists your terms
And holds to earning respect
The hard way
So I manifest my passions
To paper hoping
To jot a lot of sentiment
But pouring through me is so much more
Help me reform this distorted
Legislation
And I will break free
Of what has made me ‘temperament’
So that I may reach for the peppermint
On top of your head.
You’re so sweet to have said that last comment.
Thank you

This just so nice, the motion and flow of the words adds a well orchestrated momentum the poem. Thanks for sharing. Please read mine and give feedback. http://yukilifetolive.wordpress.com/2013/06/06/substitution/
