Category Archives: Winter

Each fallen snowflake woven,

Til earth is dressed in winter white;

Graceful beauty glistening,

Smiling beauty that’s spun afar;

Every Snowman given life,

Each Snowball made,

Trees showcasing their branches,

Laced in white,

Such a true statement of Winter

Is sewn into our life,

As beauty and generosity shape our days;

We couldn’t ask for a better gift,

A Bright White veil of Wonder

Falling from heaven,

Lifts us and brings us to new heights

Giving and nurturing our happiness,

For only short few,

Magical months of the year,

The Beauty of Winter.

From the North to the South,

And the East and West,

Nasty old man winter

has tried his very best

To blanket us over again

With cold wet snow;

You’ve outstayed your welcome

And it’s time to leave,

Please turn yourself into Spring!

I want to open up windows and doors,

And sing in the warm breeze,

Plant flowers and go swimming;

Go away Winter and leave us alone,

I’m tired of being chilled to the bone!
