Truly you stare at me

With a look of deception

I’ve come to realize my perception

Is equal to what bestows

So many shows of reliance

And compliance

Offers me reasons adjusting to seasons

That mold me

And I must say I love what I find in you

You make me true to my honor

And bring harmony to my ponder

In you is where I relax

And never tax too much

You are steady

And bear me to be ready

For my next step in life

Without you

I would not do what I do today

And I would not find my way

To the outskirts of my passion

I need you like you need me.

You set me at ease with my future

And you mark me to make please my past

Thank you, commitment

For being so regulated

And the only way I take comfort in patience.
