Digging deeper
You take me to your chest
And I’ll admit
I’ve never been happier
To confess my life is
But a mess that
Is dressed in a disguise
Of a woman!
You tell me i’m most
Grateful when i’m
Stuttering, help me
Become wise and
And slow to anger
I’m about to burst into tears
As you hold me so close
Remarking my best attributes
Affect my actions
So many times I want to give up
But you motivate me when im down
To hold on a little longer
To what keeps me, me
You say don’t change as
You play with my hair
Your hands Gently touching
my cheeks, are you buttering me up
for something big? Or are you
warning me that as I dig,
I’m meant to forgive more people?
