The kiss
This kiss will remark on my testimony to you
By body, our souls meet today
To sing a tale so wonderful, it depends not only
On our trust, but lays in the chest of our will for eachother,
As I hand you this ring,
It is in faith we share our life to honor
Our God, who created us to strive to love
It is in this that will create
The bliss that insists we tell the truth to eachother
And rely on our bodies to consummate in
What bore in our hearts.
It is only the spirit that we contract what we sew
May it bring pride to our families and honor to the one we serve.
